Setup Guide for the eDoc Module

1 - Installation

BC-Cloud
Install the add-on via the Microsoft AppSource.
Important: After installation, ensure the checkbox Allow HttpClient Requests is enabled!

BC On-Premise (BC23, BC24, BC25)
The app is provided by bartolome röder AG.
Important: After installation, ensure the checkbox Allow HttpClient Requests is enabled! (see BC-Cloud)

BC14 AL (hybrid)
The app is provided by bartolome röder AG. Additional minor changes in C/AL are required and must be performed independently by the Microsoft partner.

BC14 C/AL (equivalent to NAV 2018)
The objects are provided by bartolome röder AG and then merged by the respective Microsoft partner.

NAV Versions
The objects are provided by bartolome röder AG and then merged by the respective Microsoft partner.

2 – Initialization

For initialization, the following steps must be completed: Dynamic Page Setup, Demo Setup, Job Queue Initialization, and Electronic Transfer.

Dynamic Page Setup
Initialize the Dynamic Page (Dynamic Request Page for entities and fields, containing control parameters for outbound mapping).

Demo Setup
Populates all fields relevant to inbound and outbound processing in the "General" tab.

Initialize Job Queue (from version 5.5)
Initializes the Job Queue; required for batch processing.

Electronic-Transfer
Initializes Endpoint Mgmt. (electronic document format, document sending profiles, eDoc endpoints, and eDoc customer endpoints)

3 - Import eDoc Default Mapping

Import the initial mapping (eDoc code list, eDoc profile, eDoc service model, and transformation rules).

Delta-Import
The Delta Import adds new records.

Full-Import
The Full Import deletes all records before importing new ones.

 

4 - Configuration

General Configuration

Here, you must customize the MS Account Number, Service Token, and Billing Email Recipient based on your specific requirements. Screenshot

The following fields must be completed:
MS Account Nr.
Required for transmitting data to the web service.

Service Token
Provided by bartolome röder AG.

E-Mail-Empfänger Abrechnung
Email address used for identification with the web service.
